A chance to be introduced to Andrew Paul who is the new Vic XC Ski Team Coordinator. Andrew has a long history (as he is pretty old) with the different VIC XC ski teams over the years, be it participant, coach, camp organiser & parent. 

An information session for parents and athletes will be held at the Studley Park Boat House (about 300m from the rollerski course) at 12 midday. Details are still being formulated due to a late start but we will be doing our best to provide good opportunities for training, camps & race support, plus some new ideas to offer. Straight after the meeting we can head back in time for rollerskiers to join in a warmup before the Teardrop Loop is closed for the time trial. If there are any young skiers (maybe a younger sibling of a Team member) who may not have rollerskis and want to give it a try, there are several classic or skaters with some limited poles & boots available.

The first official VIC XC camp for 2024 with coaching and weekend accommodation provided. The camp will center around the Mount Beauty Running Festival on Saturday and followed by rollerski training sessions on Saturday and Sunday. More details in the 'News' page

Accomodation is again the Diamantina Lodge in Tawonga South.

Training day Lake Mtn & Taggerty - Prep for athletes traveling overseas for Northern Winter or just a good training day out of the city (depending on exams of course); 10th November 

Meet at the car park outside of the Marysville caravan park (depending on space due to the Marathon) 9am. We need to organise shuttles for 21km 15km or 10km options. Skate or classic for a solid distance hill climb (L2 with L3 sections if you can pace yourself!). After the rollerski we travel to 72 Cathedral lane Taggerty for lunch, rest, study or a swim in the pool if its hot. Hill run/walk with poles on the Tower Track rollercoaster nearby.

Open to all & there is no cost but BYO lunch and send a message via Whatsapp if you can make it.
